Carefree Desert Garden Seminars

The quiet beauty of Carefree Desert Gardens has been enchanting and educating visitors and residents to the wonders of the desert landscape since its creation in 2002.

These popular annual garden seminars are held monthly from Jan.–April on select Saturdays of the month beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Town Council Chambers, 33 Easy St.

Each seminar focuses on a gardening topic of interest, and features an expert speaker.

Memorial Day Tribute

On Memorial Day, our country remembers those men and women who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of our country. In their honor, the Town of Carefree is proud to host an annual Memorial Day Tribute.

Veterans Day Honor

In commemoration of their service, the Town of Carefree is privileged to host an annual Veterans Day Honor in the Carefree Desert Gardens, 101 Easy St., on the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion stage.

Christmas in Carefree

Celebrate the season with special holiday events, including the annual Tree Lighting ceremony at the Sundial, Breakfast with Santa and the popular Chanukah in Carefree Celebration, complete with 6 ft. menorah!
